User Guide to INC: Infrastructure Network Community Welcome to INC! The Infrastructure Network Community, hosted by CG/LA Infrastructure. INC is your one-stop destination for: • Connecting with registered participants of upcoming Leadership Forums that you are attending, allowing you a chance to benefit from the Forum before, during, and after the Forum! • Intelligence on current global infrastructure projects by downloading project presentations from Leadership Forums. • Virtual forums and discussion groups with other INC members, discussing latest trends in infrastructure finance, project development, and current policy. • Email alerts notifying you of new documents related to industry news or specific Leadership Forum updates, available in your member resource area I. Logging in to INC: Once you have registered for a Leadership Forum, or have purchased member access to INC, you will receive an email from info@cg-la.com with your username and password information. There are 2 ways to log into INC: • Option A: Visit http://www.cg-la.com and enter your username and password at the top right of the page. • Option B: Select the Member Area tab in the top toolbar, and enter your username and password on the following screen Option A Option B II. Member Menu Once logged in, refer to the Member Menu, which appears on the right side of the screen. The Member Menu is your guide to your: • User Profile: Upload your photo, submit a brief bio with industry-specific information, and manage your connections with other INC users. • Member Documents / Presentations: Download presentations and documents related to the Forums you have attended, or are registered to attend. • Messages: Exchange messages with virtual connections you have made with other INC users that are members of your “Exclusive Groups”, which are the Leadership Forums you have attended or are registered to attend. • Schedule Private Meetings through our online scheduling system. This feature is only available during the specific “Private Meeting Scheduling” period associated with each Leadership Forum 1/3 III. User Profile • Updating your Profile: Maximize your membership to INC by updating your user profile, which will be visible to those with whom you have requested and confirmed connections. Update your profile by selecting the Edit feature on your profile page, and selecting “Update your Profile” to add a professional bio, and “Update your Image” to upload a photo image to be included in your bio. • Requesting Connections: Connect with other INC users before, during, and after a Forum, by requesting connections with other users. You may only request connections with those that belong to your “Exclusive Groups”, which are the Forums you have or will be attending. You can view your Exclusive Groups on the grey panel to the right of your profile IV. Private Meetings One of the most critical aspects of the Leadership Forum is the ability for Participants to Pre-Schedule Private Meetings through our online Meeting Scheduler. Each participant is able to pre-schedule up to 15 private meetings (15 minutes each) with the project sponsors that will be presenting their projects’ scope and business opportunities during the Leadership Forum. The online meeting scheduler is accessible through your User Profile, and is open during a specific pre-designated period of time, 4 weeks before the Forum. In order to schedule meetings: • Select Private Meetings on the panel to the right of your User Profile (under the Member Menu and Exclusive Groups sections. Member Documents / Presentations As a registered member of INC, you have access to the Project Presentations and Documents associated with the Forums you have attended or will be attending. In order to access these presentations: • Select Documents / Presentations from the Member Menu, located on the panel to the right of your User Profile. • Select the the specific Forum or “Category” from the list. Once selected, a list of project presentations and available documents will appear. Select any of the documents to download the PDF to your desktop. VI. My Exclusive Groups Once you are registered for a specific Forum, you will see that Forum posted under “My Exclusive Groups”, on the panel to the right of your User Profile. In this section, you are able to: • View Group Members by selecting “Group Members” under the Group Activities Tab. In order to Request a connection with another INC member, click on the member’s name on the list provided. Once on the member’s profile page, select “Request a Connection” from the Connections tab on the toolbar above the User Profile. • View and Post Group Bulletins by selecting “Group Bulletins” under the Group Activities tab. Forum photos are posted in the “Bulletins” section. • Visit Group Forums, or “InfraBoards”, and view recent posts to infrastructure-specific topics.
